Newly arrived families from Ukraine, DR Congo, and Eritrea are starting fresh in Burlington—and your donations are making it possible. Through our partnership with USCRI Vermont, GiveBetter donors have supplied beds, dressers, kitchen tables, and household essentials to furnish 14 apartments since September. Nine families now have fully furnished homes.
"When a family walks into a furnished apartment instead of an empty one, it changes everything," said a USCRI Vermont caseworker. "It tells them: this community welcomes you."
